PILES
Haemorrhoids, also called piles, are very common. They are just swollen veins in the anus and lower rectum. Nearly 75% adults suffer form haemorrhoids from time to time.
Majority of the time they do not cause any symptoms but sometimes they can cause bleeding, itching and discomfort. They may result from excessive straining during bowel movement or
due to increased intra-abdominal pressure during pregnancy.
Haemorrhoids are classified as internal or external. Majority of piles can be cured without surgery.
